Travel Tips

Make sure passports are valid, expiration must be more than 3 months from your US return date

I.e. If your passport expires before December 2024 they may not let you in the country. Other European countries can be up to 6 months

We Recommend flying into Porto

Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO)

There are direct flights from Newark to Porto on Fridays, flying through Lisbon and Madrid are generally more cost effective

-

We recommend to buy flights around January - March time frame as prices increase during the spring

Our recommended airline is United or TAP Portugal. For TAP, they have very strict carry on regulations, please check their website for details.

There are trains & buses from Lisbon or Madrid to Porto
